Preserving the historic grandeur of several exterior luminaires at the Oklahoma State Capitol Building is no easy task. Last year, the Alvine Engineering team participated in the Oklahoma City State Capitol restoration of 16 historic exterior light fixtures to their original splendor and the complete recreation of a luminaire that was previously lost entirely. Our team members worked closely with the St. Louis Antique Lighting Company to coordinate the project. The result of the project is an extremely accurate replication of the originals. The luminaires stand anywhere from 4-8 feet tall and highlight the features of the 102-year-old capitol building.
