Brandon Rich Inducted in 2024 BD+C 40 Under 40

OMAHA, NE — Alvine Engineering Principal Brandon Rich P.E., LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, WiredScore AP, has been selected to be a part of Building Design + Construction’s (BD+C) 40 Under 40 class of 2024. This elite group of leaders in the architectural engineering and construction industry was selected based on their career development, educational accolades, service to professional organizations, and outstanding community involvement.

“I had an immense sense of pride and humility on learning of being named to the distinguished group of construction industry leaders. ,” Brandon stated, “This is truly an honor to be recognized with this group of peers.”

Brandon’s career path in engineering began 17 years ago when he started an internship at Alvine Engineering while working on his Master of Architectural Engineering degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Through hard work and dedication, he provided exemplary design solutions on technically complex projects, such as the Scott Data Center, Fifth + Broadway (One of Nashville’s largest mixed-use development projects) and the LEED-platinum River Point high-rise in Chicago.

Brandon’s project portfolio, civic involvement, and dedication to the industry through various accreditations and technical society involvement made him a clear choice to be included in the 2024 BD+C 40 Under 40 class. Additionally, Brandon’s dedication to being a lifelong learner captures the spirit of what it truly means to be an engineer.

“This award is an award for all of the teams I have been lucky to be a part of, and the hard work, creativity, collaboration, and effort all those teams have put to our projects,” Brandon stated, “This honor inspires me to continue to evolve our place in the industry and push to be the best partners on projects that we can be.”

In addition to his latest accolade, Brandon is also a part of Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2018, the Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Professional Class of 2020, and was also recognized by the Durham School of Architectural Engineering with their 2020 Outstanding Alumni Award.
