PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Alvine Engineering’s team partnered with Creighton University to upgrade the pedestrian area lighting along 24th Street and part of the California Street Mall in downtown Omaha. The project included monument lighting at 24th Street and new parking lot roadway and pedestrian area lighting near the Lied Education Building on the Creighton campus.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Pedestrian site lighting design along both sides of 24th Street between Burt Street and the interstate overpass, as well as for a section of the California Street mall in front of Creighton Hall
• Monument lighting at 24th and Cass Streets, and 24th and California Street mall
• Power and lighting control system design to support the new site lighting
• Energy usage documentation to validate code compliance
