PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Clean Slate Food Co. is situated in the revitalized Ashton Building within the Millwork Commons neighborhood of Omaha. They provide ready-to-eat meals for convenient delivery as well as for dining in their café. Their mission focuses on minimizing environmental impact by using locally sourced ingredients, and all of their food is served in compostable containers.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Designed the mechanical system to include a water source heat pump, a new kitchen exhaust hood system, and a dish machine exhaust.
• The plumbing design includes a grease interceptor.
• Modified the existing fire suppression system to match the new wall locations.
• The Alvine Engineering electrical design team provided the power infrastructure and equipment connections for the commercial kitchen.
• Designed the lighting for the kitchen and dining area.
• Modified the fire alarm system in conjunction with the architectural updates to the space.
